CONSULTATION

We will arrange a free consultation by phone, or your home where we will discuss your needs and our process in detail. We want to hear all your wishes, hopes and preferences for childcare needs. This helps us understand your family dynamic, an invaluable step toward securing the perfect nanny in your home.

ENGAGEMENT

Following your consultation, we’ll send you our Family Agreement/Agency Terms & Conditions (also see placement services below). We will then draft a concise job description for your approval to initiate your search. Your placement is both time and labor intensive; therefore, a one time non-refundable $200 engagement fee is requested in advance to initiate your search. Should you choose to move forward with one of our candidates, your engagement fee will be credited toward your placement fee upon hire.

SELECTION

We start sending the best Second City Nannies has to offer! You'll receive resumes, letters of recommendation, and a short bio about each potential candidate. From there we move at your pace scheduling phone interviews, face to face interviews, and trial periods.

HIRING

Once you have selected your candidate, extend an offer, and she accepts. We will run a full nanny background check, we can also walk you through a nanny work agreement that outlines each parties expectations, benefits, and nanny duties.
